Spring is still a little way off, but our Horticulture team can always find plenty to do, despite the awful weather… we’ve just had some photos through of their latest exciting project, which aims to expand the wildlife garden in Parkfield. Can you guess what they’re creating?

Mysterious discoveries in the veg patch…

10th October 2016 Students on the horticulture course at Parkfield were fascinated by this scorpion-like beetle crawling around the vegetable patch (left). The “Devil’s Coach Horse” can sometimes be mistaken for an earwig but when threatened its scorpion-like posture will give the game away!
