Our aim is to help those who may not be comfortable in a traditional learning environment, or may have missed opportunities in life due to educational, social or emotional circumstances.
We work closely with local authorities and learners with Educational Healthcare Plans (EHPs) to agree a package of bespoke learning which suits the special education needs of each student. If you would like to access this service, please contact Gail Rochelle on 01803-551551, who will provide information, advice and guidance on the next steps and can also arrange a taster session at one of our centres if required.
With our small group sizes, dedicated tutors, 1:1 mentoring and bespoke programmes, we can offer
the personal support and guidance that many larger institutions are simply unable to provide. As a result, we have a proven track-record of helping learners who have not succeeded in other environments.
With sub-contracts from V:Learning Net, Learning Curve, LearnDevon and a Direct 24+ loans contract (SFA) we provide quality education for 16-18 year olds and those 19+ who are unemployed and seeking work. In some instances, we also provide courses for people 19+ who are employed or retired.
Our range of provision includes:
- Non-accredited, informal community learning
- ICT facilities and training
- Bespoke learning programmes for 16-18 year olds
- Vocational and academic qualifications from entry level up to level 4
- Basic adult literacy and numeracy – entry level to level 2
- NEW Devon County Skills for Young People programme
