Courses and Services Offered

One of the things that makes us different is that we create a bespoke educational programme around the needs and interests of each learner. Functional Skills (English, Maths & IT) are embedded in every programme, alongside the chosen area(s) of vocational learning. Currently, our learners may study Catering, Horticulture, Construction or IT & Digital Skills but we are happy to evolve programmes in new subject areas.

Skills Evolve

Operating term time, between school hours this four week course will give you new skills whilst gaining a work related reference from your volunteering role. This course can help you move closer to getting a career in customer service, hospitality, catering and much more.

Free if you’re 19+ and seeking work.

Work to Learn (age 16-18)

Like a college or sixth form this course can be consider as full time education for benefit purposes. We can help you build a programme of study that will include a main subject (ICT, Business Administration, Customer Service, Horticulture, Hospitality & catering) along with maths, English and Employability skills. If you are living independently or in a household with a low income you may be entitled to a bursary whilst you are studying.

Free if you were over 16 or under 19 on the 1st of August.

Skills For Jobs – Computers

Computer skills are needed in every industry, we offer basic and intermediate in a flexible way for you to set the pace with your learning. Offering individual units of qualifications so you can just learn the skills you need. These courses offer level 1 and 2 in the use of common office software, using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Access and the fundamentals of using a computer.
