Skills for Young People

Devon County Skills for Young People

Available soon – bookmark this page for more info about this exciting new project!

Eat That Frog invites young people to gain new experiences and develop skills to support their personal development whilst exploring a wide range of learning and work opportunities. Young people can make informed decisions about future career and learning pathways supported by friendly, qualified staff with skills in careers advice, mentoring, teaching, counselling and youth work.

A mix of one-to-one support will be offered alongside some small group based activities. With a wide range of activities and opportunities to explore, what we do depends on the wishes of individuals and the group: perhaps we will be coasteering at Anstey’s Cove, learning circus skills or cooking lunch on a fire whilst exploring the forest and learning about woodland survival.

Vocational tasters and work experience can also be offered through our centres. All individual and group activities are linked to tailored accredited awards through City & Guilds / Ascentis, acknowledging all achievements and personal development progress.  On completion, ongoing support continues in order to enable young people to access suitable opportunities that further their career and educational aspirations.

Delivering across Southern Devon including Torbay and Plymouth.
