Eat That Frog Community

Community is at the heart of everything we do at Eat That Frog – from the very beginning, we have always aimed to work in a way that creates opportunities and adds value to the lives of local people.

Our areas of work have expanded, and our geographical community has grown – but our basic principles have remained the same; putting people, values and quality above all else. We do this not by viewing community work as an ‘extra’, but by embedding it in all our programmes. For example, the 16-19 year olds on our catering courses prepare and serve the food for elderly customers at our Over 50s lunchclub – a practical demonstration of their skill that benefits both groups! in 2016, we were proud to win the Herald Express ‘Community Group of the Year’ award, being described as ‘inspiring’ for our track record of community work.
